What is a buccal strip?
A thin, fast-dissolving film placed on the top of the tongue and held against the roof of the mouth. It dissolves in under a minute without water, and the ingredients are absorbed through the lining of the mouth.
How is it different from capsules, powders or injections?
Capsules and powders go through the digestive tract. Injections need a needle, mixing and refrigeration. A buccal strip does none of that: one strip, one precise dose, taken anywhere.
